Alpaca is Moisture Wicking & Breathable

Unlike most synthetic and cotton based socks, Alpaca can absorb over 30% of its weight in moisture and still maintain all of its warmth and thermal regulating properties.

It’s also naturally hydrophobic, meaning it repels moisture, moving it away from your foot to the outside of the sock where it can evaporate, keeping you comfortable for longer periods of time spent exploring the great outdoors.

Alpaca contains no lanolin found in sheep’s wool, which causes the majority of allergic reactions to wool.

Alpaca helps remove water vapor away from your skin, preventing bacteria from building up and causing odor.

Alpacas tread lightly on the earth with their soft padded feet. Their efficient digestive systems require less food and produce an awesome fertilizer.

Alpaca fiber doesn’t require any harsh chemical treatments during processing (like sheep’s wool, cotton, and synthetics). No alpacas are harmed during shearing and fiber harvest, it’s actually a vital process to their well being.

All of our products are U.S. Grown, U.S. Made and utilize the fiber we grow each year on our farm.

By utilizing a natural renewable fiber grown in the U.S. and utilizing U.S. textile mills, the carbon footprint for our alpaca products is low throughout it’s entire life cycle, from farm to garment!
