Pretending it's Spring on the Alpaca Farm
It almost feels like Spring, during the peak of the day at least.
As long as the sun is shining and the wind isn't blowing, it feels like *almost* Spring.
As New England residents by choice, despite the constant nagging of our southern bound family and friends, we don't mind experiencing all four seasons.
Battling the elements each year, starting with snow removal and rock salt, and finishing by leaf raking and composting, the 4 distinct New England seasons help remind us we are alive.
The seasons serve as very distinct markers of time, which proved to be especially helpful during a year where we spent most of our time at home, on the farm, doing more of the same, day in and day out.
Cheers to the last of Winter, and the beginning of Mud season, aka *almost* Spring, here on the alpaca farm.
